It might have been your fault; it might have been a darn seagull that dropped a catfish on your windshield (true story); it might even have been the Universe that messed up. But either way, some car owners are having such a horrible day that they can loudly proclaim that it s***s (and it’s way worse than yours)! So it’s no wonder that they posted their experiences on the ‘Well That s***s’ subreddit.

Chaos_a attributes the vast popularity of the 'Well That s***s' community to crossposting. "The creator of this subreddit went around making posts with 'cross post /r/wellthatsucks' in the title. It's a pretty common tactic on Reddit and clearly worked out for us. They gained enough [attention] to get the ball rolling. Redditors must enjoy joining in on other peoples minor miseries, and we've grown to well over 2 million users since then," they told us.
