If you’ve ever attempted to renovate a house, you already know how much of a hassle it is. The hefty process of turning something old into something beautiful takes skill, good planning, patience, and, of course, finances. Understandably, not everyone possesses all of these things, so we can only admire those who do. One of those handy people is Jamie Barrow, who recently gathered plenty of attention for turning an old basement into a stunning apartment.

In 2017, he noticed that a beautiful Georgian townhouse, where he already owned a property at the time, had a basement and sub-basement available to buy.

Even though the basement was in rather poor condition and looked like a “creepy old dungeon,” Barrow immediately realized that he could turn it into something really luxurious. And so he did!
