A Lord of the Rings fan has appeared on Good Morning Britain to explain why she now identifies as an elf.
Kimberel Eventide spoke to hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid this morning (April 3) about living as a trans-species elf and how she is essentially an elf trapped inside a human body.
After explaining how she was inspired when reading JRR Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings, Kimberel went on to explain how she believes she isn’t the only one.
When asked by Piers if she was being ‘deadly serious’ due to people laughing at her, Kimberel began to explain how ‘otherkins’ are essentially human beings but they have ‘other parts’ to them which make them unique humans.
Kimberel, who appeared via a video link from the US, told Piers:
Consciousness is expanding and people are starting to question more, ‘what is a human?’
When you get deeper into science and understand the quantum world, you understand that everything is interconnected and so all things in the universe, all things that we imagine, we can be and we can become.
Wearing prosthetic pointy elf ears, Kimberel said it is ‘more than just cosplay’ and emphasised how humans are far more unlimited than we previously imagined.
You can take a look at the full interview below:
Upon being questioned by Piers on her marriage, Kimberel said her husband was ‘very human,’ before saying he’s her Aragorn and she’s his Arwen – referencing Lord of the Rings characters.
The couple’s sex life was then brought under scrutiny, with Piers asking if elves are allowed to have sex with humans. To this, Kimberel replied, ‘oh yes of course’ before pointing out that the world JRR Tolkien created in Lord of the Rings involved elves breeding with humans.
To this, Susanna pointed out that Tolkien’s world was both fantasy and fiction, and asked Kimberel if she genuinely believed she is something ‘other than human’.
Responding quickly with, ‘I do, I do,’ Kimberel emphasised how she came into this world feeling different and she believes she isn’t the only one. She then added that ‘a lot of new souls coming in are going to show that’.
‘Everything is interconnected. All things in the universe, all things we imagine, we can be.’

In all honesty, I’m just surprised Piers made it through the entire interview without making some sarcastic dig.
I mean, doesn’t he usually has a massive problem with the way in which people identify? In fact, doesn’t he usually have a problem with anything at all?
