There’s no better feeling than relaxing in the comfy gowns, knowing there’s simply no way you could get that same comfort at home.
But what if we can? And what if our pets can get in on the action too? Well now it seems they can because matching bathrobes for you and your pet officially exist – and life is great.
A company on Etsy has started selling the adorably fashionable robes (or dressing gowns, whatever you want to call them) so they are available to buy now.
The Posh Paws Company is known for its handmade pet garments and accessories, but this is the first time it’s ventured into the land of dressing gowns and I am loving it.
The only downside is, the robes don’t come as a set and so you have to buy the human and dog versions separately, meaning the prices hike up slightly.
The Posh Paws Company/EtsyThe human robe costs anywhere between £37 and £47, and the doggo robes cost between £21 and £30 (depending on the size of the dog).
The doggy gowns are slightly different to the human ones (obvs), as they have a collar and front leg sleeves. They also don’t include fasteners for that ‘extra comfort’.
And if you want to add that little bit of extra luxury, you can also get the robes custom designed to either your own or your pets’ initials. What more could you ask for, really?!
The Posh Paws Company/EtsyIf you don’t have a pet though, you could take a leaf out of Melissa McCarthy’s book, who recently wore a matching tracksuit to her husband at the Oscars.
McCarthy – who was nominated for Best Actress for her performance in Can You Ever Forgive Me? – and her husband Ben Falcone won the Oscars with their wardrobe choices, choosing to dress down for the occasion.
The professional life partners – who have two children and appeared alongside each other in What To Expect When You’re Expecting and Bridesmaids – rocked up to the after party wearing matching black Adidas tracksuits, briefly stopping to chat to some reporters on the red carpet.
McCarthy joked to Entertainment Tonight:
It’s not [less glamorous] to me, guys. I’ve doubled my diamonds – I feel great.
Couple goals right there. And how happy do they look to be so comfy?! If I ever get nominated for an Oscar (lol) I’ll be making sure I’m as comfy as McCarthy – although I doubt it would be as greatly received.
