In a move akin to roofer repairing your roof then drilling a couple holes in it just before they left, a barber has been giving out business cards with condoms stapled to them.
The barber, 23-year-old Jake Gamez from Texas, hasn’t been attaching the condoms by the packet’s edges either, oh no, he’s been stapling them right through the middle.
Maybe he’s making a quiet protest of… I don’t know… too few unwanted pregnancies? No, let’s not go there, let’s just say he wasn’t aware of the mistake he was making by putting holes in condoms.
Showing off his new business cards on Twitter, Patrick Bateman-style, Jake wrote:
Gotta include one of these with every card! You’re going to need it after I cut your hair… Trust me…

Obviously confident in his barbering skills, the implication here is that his haircuts are so good they’ll… well you get the picture. Let’s just hope his haircuts are better than his common sense. Though perhaps the guy should be praised for at least trying to promote safe sex.
Jake followed the tweet – which has so far been retweeted over 10,000 times and received 40,000 likes – with a few pictures of his handiwork.
He wrote:
Little of my work! Thank you all for being here. Truly an honor
Which begs the question – exactly how long has Jake been stapling condoms to his business cards for?!

Seeing the brains behind the business plan, one person wrote:
Wonderful… now you can bring your son to get a fade too!

Another praised his business acumen, I reckon Alan Sugar would be well impressed:
the free publicity you have gotten from this… Congrats…collector items is what these are now

Jake seems to have embraced the mistake though (either that or he really is thinking long-term), by welcoming the odd viral sensation that his tweet has become.
Coincidentally, odd viral sensations are what you run the risk of contracting if you don’t wear condoms, so be safe out there everyone, and don’t staple your condoms to anything ever.
