Mulling over what I’d do if I won the lottery is admittedly one of my favourite zone out activities.
Personally, I would definitely have to take a long, sunny beach holiday while I muse over my newfound riches. And I would no doubt need a lovely big house in which to store all my money…
However, there is one aspect of winning the lottery that many of us fail to consider when adding up the ultimate ASOS basket: anonymity.
Recipients of the Jamaican Super Lotto have previously worn emoji and animal masks to disguise their identity, fearing harassment if they reveal themselves. However, one recent winner has gone down a decidedly creepier route altogether…
It's about to get Real REAL for our latest #SuperMillionaire, A. Campbell because today's the day they go home $158.4 Million richer! pic.twitter.com/kKxaIJyWgg

The 17th winner of Jamaica’s Super Lotto arrived to pick up his $158.4 million dressed head to toe as the ghoulish killer Ghostface from Wes Craven’s Scream.
Donning the iconic Scream mask, the newly minted multi-millionaire also wore overalls and black leather gloves. Clearly a person who likes scary movies…
The man is referred to only as A. Campbell, possibly in reference to Neve Campbell who plays resourceful protagonist Sidney Prescott in the hit slasher film series.

However, much like his namesake, Campbell has gone through plenty of pain and stress before claiming his win. He fell ill after learning of his good fortune, and didn’t present his winning ticket for 54 days.
Campbell, who bought the lucky ticket in Kingston, told the St. Lucia News:
I looked at my ticket and ran into my bathroom and said, ‘I won! I won!’ From the day I found out that I won, I’ve been sick.
My head hurt me for three days because I was thinking so much. [Wondering] if what I’ve been longing for really come true. I had a belly ache for two weeks, sometimes I feel so much pain I forgot that I had won.
Speaking of his plans going forward, Campbell spoke of his desire to find himself a ‘nice house’:
I want to get a house, I want to get a nice house. I haven’t found it yet, but I’ll be looking for one soon.
Intriguingly, Campbell picked out the winning numbers from a dream which has really motivated me to start dream journalling…
