PAJennifer Lawrence is getting married to her art dealer boyfriend, Cooke Maroney, according to her rep.
The actor’s rep confirmed Lawrence and her boyfriend of around nine months, after the pair were first romantically linked in June 2018.
Apparently Jennifer was seen wearing a pretty big rock on her ring finger on Tuesday 5 February, which set the rumour mill churning.
A so-called ‘spy’ – a nosey parker with no relation to Jame Bond – told Page Six what they saw of the couple in New York.
They said:
It was a giant rock. They seemed like they were celebrating and people were talking about it. The ring was very noticeable. They were sitting back in a corner. She was wearing a cute black dress with white polka dots.
So, since the exclusive was published Lawrence’s rep has been telling curious gossip pages left, right and centre that Cooke Maroney are indeed engaged but did not provide any further details.
The Hunger Games franchise actor previously dated actor Nicholas Hoult between 2011 and 2014.
Lawrence was also briefly linked – whatever that means in Tinsel Town – to Chris Martin in 2015 and dated her mother! director Darren Aronofsky from 2016 to 2017.
According to Page Six, Maroney works for New York’s Gladstone Gallery. He’s the director at Gladstone 64, which is just one of the Gladstone Galleries.
The upscale gallery represents artists like Lena Dunham’s father, Carroll Dunham, Richard Prince, Anish Kapoor, Ugo Rondinone and Bjork’s ex, Matthew Barney.
In January, Us Weekly reported the pair were ‘very serious’ and ‘definitely appear to be in it for the long haul’. Who knew – the gossip columns do get it right!
The 33-year-old gallerist is from New England originally and moved to New York to start his career in the art scene, working initially at Gagosian – which is kind of a big deal, dhhhhharling.
He and the 27-year-old Oscar winner have been spotted out in the Big Apple enjoying each other’s company despite the watchful gaze of paps, and on holidays on Paris and Rome.

The pair have managed to stay pretty private during their relationship, with ‘a source’ telling Page Six:
They met through Jen’s friend Laura. The relationship has been going on a few weeks. But they have been very private and careful not to be seen together.
