SWNSWhen planning a lady’s 100th birthday, you might think of arranging a gentile afternoon tea party, complete with floral decorations and delicately frosted cupcakes.
However, birthday girl Doll Jenkins had very different type of buns in mind when it came to her centurion birthday bash.
At one hundred years young, Doll, of Colchester, Essex, still has a naughty twinkle in her eye, and was thrilled when staff at her retirement home hired some scantily clad butlers to attend her party.
Now, your own nana may well enjoy a good Christmas episode of Downton Abbey, but these fellas were not exactly the sort of butlers the dutiful Mr Carson would approve of…
Dressed only in bum-bearing aprons and matching bow ties, these ‘Hunks in Trunks’ were employed by Naked Butlers Essex, a rather saucy company who also hire topless waiters and naked chefs.
The butlers served up sandwiches and scones, with guests having the choice between a glass of wine, or a nice cup of tea.
Senior carer at Milton Lodge residential home, Leigha Jones, said:
Her face just lit up when they came in, she was beaming. We all sat in the lounge area waiting for them and when they came in she was a bit taken aback.
She told them to go and put some clothes on, but she soon came out of her shell and was flirting and smacking their bottoms.
She loved it and she kept asking them to come back and say goodbye to her properly.
SWNSLeigha proceeded to give a little insight into cheeky Doll, who’s said to be ‘a lot younger at heart’:
She kept asking if we could go and find the naked men again.
She is a lot younger at heart – she still gets around and walks when she feels strong enough and she still laughs and jokes.
There is never a time when she is not smiling.
Vivacious Doll – who’s lived at the home for a year – has six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and four great, great grandchildren.
SWNSBizarrely, this isn’t the first time the Hunks in Trunks have paid a visit to Milton Lodge. They’ve served dinner as part of the Sparkle initiative, where staff at the home raised money to make residents’ wishes come true.
One lively group of elderly women wished to spend some time with a man, and the home’s fairy godmothers granted this, and then some.
It seems Doll particularly enjoyed their company, requesting they join them again for her big 100.
SWNSA very happy belated birthday to Doll, who may have just proven a flirty disposition and a firm appreciation of bottoms is the secret to eternal youth.
