Consider how invested we regular fans are with the outcome of the long-running fantasy epic. But Rose was an actual wildling in the show, stealing our hearts – and Jon Snow’s – as headstrong Ygritte.
The couple even met and fell in love on set, making this an extra personal betrayal.
While promoting his new film How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World on KISS Breakfast, Kit admitted:
I told my wife last year how it ended, and she wouldn’t talk to me for about three days. And she’d asked!
Speaking about what it’s like to walk around knowing the biggest telly secret in recent history, Kit revealed:
It’s quite nice walking around, which will only happen for a few months before everyone’s seen it, knowing. I know and no one else does. I know how it wraps up. Yeah, I think it’s gonna be groundbreaking.
And the King of the North remained rather restrained when discussing whether he was ‘happy’ with how it all ends:
It’s a weird one to answer that, I can’t really answer whether I’m happy or not. I don’t think it’s about happy or sad really. I’m satisfied with what they did, but I don’t know whether I’ll be really satisfied until I see it.
