NetflixNetflix’s documentary series about the serial killer Ted Bundy has dropped today to satisfy all your true crime needs.
Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes has been released on the streaming service today (January 24), 30 years after the American was executed in the electric chair at Florida State Prison.
Featuring interviews with Bundy which the public have never heard before, the four-part series is set to be a chilling watch with Netflix warning viewers on Twitter.
The streaming service took to their UK Twitter account this morning to let true crime fans know the series had dropped.
The tweet, however, contained a warning:

One of the most notorious criminals of the 20th century, Bundy confessed to killing 30 people in seven states between 1974 and 1978, but the true number is unknown and quite possibly higher.
Also a kidnapper, rapist, burglar and necrophile, Bundy received three death sentences for the murders of Lisa Levy, Margaret Bowman and Kimberly Leach in Florida.
During the penalty phase of the trial, he asked Washington State DES coworker Carole Ann Boone to marry him, which she accepted.
In 1982, Boone gave birth to daughter and named Bundy as the alleged father.
While Bundy was on death row, in 1980 two journalists named Stephen G. Michaud and Hugh Aynesworth spent over 100 hours interviewing him, recording every word.
The Netflix series features these interviews and is based on the book, of the same name, the two journalists published.
It aims to give viewers a unique insight into the killer’s life, as well as his supposed motives for his crimes, as he tells his story.
The show has been created by the Emmy-winning documentary maker Joe Berlinger, who has also directed a feature film chronicling the life and crimes of Ted Bundy.
The film, called Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, will see Zac Efron star as the serial killer and will be told from the point of view of Bundy’s longtime girlfriend, Elizabeth Kloepfer, played by Lily Collins.

Voltage PicturesIn an interview last year with IndieWire, Efron promised the film wouldn’t ‘glorify’ the killer saying:
It’s very interesting. I think the movie itself is really deep.It doesn’t really glorify Ted Bundy. He wasn’t a person to be glorified. It simply tells a story and sort of how the world was able to be charmed over by this guy who was notoriously evil and the vexing position that so many people were put in, the world was put in. It was fun to go and experiment in that realm of reality.
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile currently doesn’t have a release date but we don’t think it will be long until a distributor picks it up.
