A woman has claimed she had an extramarital affair with Kit Harington in accusations immediately denied by the Game of Thrones actor.
A rep for Harrington has quickly dismissed the claims as ‘completely false’. Harington stands accused of cheating on his wife, Rose Leslie, with Russian model Olga Vlaslova.
Vlaslova released what she claimed were nude images of the actor allegedly taken during their one-month affair.
According to reports, Vlaslova claimed the pair met in Luxembourg and proceeded to sleep together on multiple occasions during his engagement to Rose Leslie and after their wedding in June 2018.
Harington’s rep told E! News in a statement:
The allegations in this story are completely false. He’s never even been to Luxembourg nor has he ever met Olga Vlaslova.
Harington and Leslie married in summer in Scotland, at Rose’s childhood home, Wardhill Castle.
Eighty members of their closest family and friends, including co-stars Emilia Clarke and Peter Dinklage, gathered for the celebration.
Fans were elated for the happy couple, who met on the set of Game of Thrones in 2010, stepped out as a couple in 2016 – a secret kept better than the plot of GoT itself – and announced their engagement in September 2017.
Some were so pleased to see Jon Snow forsake his Night’s Watch vows and marry the wildling Ygritte they blurred the lines between the actor’s fictional and real life romances ion this montage:
When asked about Game of Thrones‘ impact on his life after the Emmys this year, Harington said:
I met my wife on this show, so, in that way it gave me my future family and life from here on in. That’s the main thing it did for me. It’s changed it completely.
The last 10 years. You cannot ask for a better job to have in your twenties, to take you through your twenties than to be an actor in Game of Thrones. It’s been the most amazing thing. It’s changed it completely.
So, the allegations against Harington’s fidelity come as a huge surprise to many.
It has been reported Vlaslova posted photos on Twitter of a man she claimed was the actor asleep on a bed with a laptop next to him. The veracity of the photos have been cast into doubt.
Harington will star in the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, which premieres April 2019.
Though it’s not exactly a full trailer just yet, more of a teaser, HBO has revealed a few glimpses into what we can expect from the next and final season.
From the scenes we can see, Daenerys and Tyrion are busy plotting their next moves, as well as Daenerys catching up with Jon Snow.
There’s also snatches of Cersei Lannister, still hanging on in there, and the briefest of brief shots of a dragon doing its thing.
As fans await the season premier in April, let’s keep our fingers crossed the rumours are simply that; rumours. Jon and Ygritte forever.
