A hair growth shampoo which promises to ‘bring back to life’ dull hair has got people talking, getting over 400 five star reviews on Amazon alone.
Now, I’m one of those people who nips into the supermarket on a whim and picks up the cheapest shampoo on offer, but I’m all ears.
The shampoo, by Waterman’s, is aimed at both men and women, and claims to make hair grow ‘thicker and faster’.
And it appears the shampoo is true to its word; people have been flooding their Facebook page and Amazon with positive reviews, with more than half of those being five stars.
Customers on Amazon alone have rated the product as five star 434 times, describing it as ‘amazing,’ ‘awesome,’ and ‘refreshing’.
The product description states:
Brings back the life to dull hair, hair with no body or bounce and brings back life to dyed hair. For the healthiest looking locks use Watermans.
Clinically proven anti-hair loss, hair growth stimulating protein used in our formulas. For hair growth, slowing the rate of hair loss, improving your natural growth rate or thickness and condition Watermans is the product for you.
And if the reviews are anything to go by, then it looks like this shampoo really is something else, with people saying it has changed their life.
One person wrote:
I have struggled with some hair loss from stress and I can say that this product has really helped bring my hair to life again. I was skeptical at first but it took about 1-2 weeks of me using the products regularly to notice the different and my hair loss has definitely reduced significantly. I would honestly say for the other skeptics out there to give it a try! Definitely my new go to shampoo and conditioner!
While another spoke about how helpful the shampoo was after their transplant:
After my transplant a side effect of my medication was my hair was really thinning, I was devastated, I tried several shampoos conditioners None helped Last resort was Watermans after a few weeks people started commenting my hair looked thicker and it was. I didn’t believe it would work but now I would highly recommend.
The shampoo and conditioner sell for £12.95 each or £22.95 for the set, which admittedly are slightly pricey but people are saying it’s worth it.
I’m going to throw all my cards on the table here and be honest with you. Back in year six, I got told I had eyebrows like Charlie from Busted. I know, devastating news for an 11-year-old girl.
So, me being me I decided to do something about it. Tweezers at the ready, I plucked my eyebrows to an inch of their life and felt like a transformed woman (girl).
Fast-forward to 10 years later – when thick eyebrows were all the rage – and you had yourself a very remorseful twenty-year-old me. After years of plucking, my eyebrows were never the same and as a result, they now resemble twigs.
Obviously, I had to do something about it and decided to invest my hard-earned money into something which could change my life – eyebrow regrowth serum. Have you ever heard something so amazing?
Anyway, I won’t divulge how much I spent on this product but to give you a clue, everyone thought I was completely mad when I told them the cost. Cries of ‘are you stupid?’ and ‘sort your life out’ came hurtling towards me, but I was quietly confident that they didn’t know what they were talking about and my life would soon be changed.
Ahem. Turns out they did know what they were talking about and my life was not changed, as six months into using the product religiously my eyebrows had not grown in the slightest.
But, admittedly I hadn’t read the reviews before buying it, which as I found out afterwards was a mistake. Let’s just say, they weren’t getting five stars from anyone.
So the moral of the day folks is to do your research beforehand! And with more than 400 five star reviews, I’m going to go out on a whim and say this one’s worth the money.
