Rockstar GamesIt’s only been out for a handful of days, but Red Dead Redemption 2 is already the gaming gift that keeps on giving, especially since there’s literally hundreds of little details that not everybody will see in their first playthrough.
A fine example of this is during the early mission ‘A Quiet Time’ which sees protagonist Arthur Morgan escorting Lenny, a fellow member of the Van Der Linde Gang, to the Saloon so he can calm his nerves with a few relaxing beverages. No biggie, we’ve all been there.
We’ve also all been in a situation where ‘a few relaxing beverages’ descends into a blackout drunken blur, complete with soul-spilling, line dancing and bar fighting. Or at least Arthur and Lenny have.
Rockstar GamesDuring this mission, players are tasked with finding young Lenny after he disappears. As you look around the lively establishment to find your friend, you can stumble towards the murky back-rooms to see a couple of patrons engaging in some lively, old West rumpy-pumpy.

This on its own isn’t particularly shocking, humans gonna human after all. But as you and Lenny continue your night of debauchery, he goes missing again. Classic Lenny. Only this time you’re much more than three sheets to the wind.
With your vision a swirling mess, you begin on your epic quest again but with one glaring difference. Every person in the bar now bears a striking resemblance to Lenny.
The more astute among you will probably have figured out where this is going, but for the benefit of everybody in the room, I’ll elaborate. If you head up the stairs and around to where you previously walked in on the couple enjoying some extramarital relations, things have taken a rather… interesting turn.

Yep, that’s some steamy Lenny on Lenny action you just walked in on. Marvellous.
Of course Arthur being a decent man quickly turns tail to give the Lennys some privacy, and continues the search outside, where he finds the real Lenny clothed and well.
The best part about this scenario, is that it’s completely optional as to whether or not you find it, and is just one of a whole host of little flavour moments that are very easy to skip if you’re not paying attention.
As for Arthur and Lenny’s relationship after this moment, it’s hard to tell, but I like to think they managed to stay friends, and Arthur could still look his buddy in the eye.
