Halloween just isn’t Halloween if you don’t spend a whole evening attempting to carve a creepy face into a pumpkin with varying degrees of success.
This year though it might be time to switch things up a bit with the help of a paintbrush and some good old fashioned imagination.

Forget spending hours scooping out insides and attempting to carve some sort of face, as Karen suggests why don’t you just paint the pumpkin instead with a bewitching design.
Add some further simple decorations and you have got yourself a cute Harry Potter pumpkin which any witch or wizard would be proud of.
You can check out exactly how Karen created her wonderful pumpkins in the video below:

The second design combines Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw’s house colours (scarlett, green, yellow and blue) while the third is a pumpkin version of the boy who lived himself.
I think this one might be my favourite – just look at his scarf!

The final design is the cutest of the bunch as Karen paints a much smaller pumpkin gold then attaching cardboard wings to create a Golden Snitch. While these Potter pumpkins aren’t exactly traditional, we think they would be a great addition in any household this Halloween.
I certainly can’t wait to try my hand at creating one!

The sequel to 2016’s hit film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, will see Eddie Redmayne return as magizoologist Newt Scamander as he undertakes a book tour to promote his newly-published manual.
Of course nothing is ever that simple in the wizarding world and so Scamander ends up joining Albus Dumbledore as they attempt to take down the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald.
You can check out the trailer for the film here:
Directed by Harry Potter veteran David Yates, Jude Law will play a young Dumbledore while Johnny Depp takes on the role of Grindelwald.
Claudia Kim also joins the cast as Nagini, a Maledictus who transforms into Voldemort’s infamous snake.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Claudia revealed more information about human Nagini’s character:
It will be so interesting to see another side of Nagini. You’ve only seen her as a Horcrux. In this, she’s a wonderful and vulnerable woman who wants to live. She wants to stay a human being and I think that’s a wonderful contrast to the character. We can’t wait to learn more about Nagini’s past!
She does feel sometimes it’s not controllable. She is bound to [permanently] transform at some point to a beast so she feels this pressure that the clock is ticking.
She has powers that are yet to be explored. I can’t confirm she has powers like wizards have. And she doesn’t have a wand.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald will be released in the UK on November 16 this year.
